What do they use and how?

Before they choose a location for their new house they will perform a ceremony which is done by the shaman or so called 'bomoh', this ceremony is done so that the location of the house is 'approved by the spirits around the area. The ceremony can be doned by using a few basic materials such as pail, incense, a long stick and etc.

Back in the old days where they have limited modern resource they have no choice but to use natural resources provided by nature.
